Following five subjects are commonly asked. Number of questions may differ from exam to exam from the following sections.

D. General Hindi

F. Post Related Subjects
Note: In addition to the above five subjects, in some exams like PRT,TGT, PGT, or Technical Exams one post specific subject is also included in selection procedure. Objective type questions are asked from related subject too.
Final selection is done on the basis of written exam/exams conducted by DSSSB for various posts in which negative marking of 0.25 is applied for every incorrect question. In some exams such as Post Graduate Teachers (PRT,TGT,PGT) two tier exam is conducted where as in most of the exams one tier exam pattern is adopted.
